Sweet Life Conference 2025
End-to-end experience design across brand, visuals, and media
Overview
Sweet Life Conference is a large annual women’s event hosted by Bethel Church, bringing together over 1,700 attendees for worship, teaching, and community. My role was to design the full creative system behind the experience, ensuring everything felt cohesive, clear, and emotionally resonant from first touchpoint to final moment.
The goal wasn’t just to make things look good. It was to help people feel something.
The Challenge
Large events create complexity fast:
- Multiple teams working across print, digital, stage, and social
- Tight timelines with constant changes
- A wide audience spanning generations and design fluency
- The need for clarity, consistency, and emotional impact, at scale
The challenge was to design a system flexible enough to move fast, but strong enough to hold the room.
My Approach
Design the system before the assets.
I focused first on building a clear visual language, so every sign, slide, post, and video felt like part of the same story.
That meant:
- A distinct conference theme
- A scalable color and typography system
- Clear hierarchy for live environments
- Templates that empowered teams to execute consistently
Once the system was set, execution moved quickly and confidently.
Key Distributions
Brand & Visual Direction
- Conference theme, color, and typography system
- Visual direction and mood exploration
Event Experience

- Wayfinding, signage, and on-site collateral
Digital & Media
- Social and promotional templates
- Livestream graphics and recap content
Everything was designed to work together, on screen, on stage, and in real-world moments.
Impact
- Unified a multi-day event across dozens of touchpoints
- Helped teams move faster with less friction
- Created a consistent, emotionally engaging experience for both in-person and online attendees
- Supported an event serving thousands without sacrificing clarity or craft

Reflection
This project shows how I approach design as a system, not just a set of visuals. I care about pairing creative vision with real-world execution—leading work from concept through delivery. Most importantly, I focus on building experiences that connect with people emotionally, not just aesthetically.
