Designing an Experience for 1,700+ Women to Encounter God

Overview of The Event

Sweet Life Conference 2025 was an unforgettable experience hosted by Debbie Heden, NCN Women’s Director with the Assemblies of God, at Bethel Church San Jose, bringing together over 1,700 women in person and 200+ online for a powerful time of worship, teaching, and transformation. This annual event is designed to inspire and equip women in their faith, and this year’s theme centered around God’s audacious love.

Our Role

Church Design Lab played a pivotal role in branding, production, social media, promo videos, and team leadership to ensure a seamless and impactful experience. From concept to execution, we managed every creative and technical detail, ensuring a cohesive and immersive experience.

Our contributions included:

  • Conference branding – Crafting a full visual identity
  • Event collateral – Designing banners, posters, flyers, directional signage, merchandise, and welcome signage.
  • Production assets – Developing bumper videos, session-specific countdowns, stage visuals, lower thirds, and speaker title slides.
  • Comprehensive video suite – Creating horizontal and vertical promotional videos, recap videos, and livestream graphics for in-person and online audiences.
  • Social media marketing & paid ad campaigns – Managing an 8 to 12-week social media content strategy combined with targeted paid ads on Facebook and Instagram, leveraging both email databases and geographical targeting to maximize reach and engagement within a 3-hour radius.
  • On-site leadership – Managing the social media, photography, video and production teams to ensure seamless real-time execution.

Branding & Identity

The client provided a simple graphic package with two colors and a single typeface. We further expanded the system by introducing complementary typefaces to enrich the visual identity and provide more versatility across applications. We expanded on this by introducing complementary colors, creating a flexible and cohesive design system, and developing multiple design variations. Additional elements were crafted to enhance and extend the original conference branding across both print and digital platform

  • Color Palette & Typography Choices – A carefully curated design system that reinforced the event’s visual identity.

  • Mood Boards & Design Concepts – Translating vision into cohesive branding that resonated with the audience.
